Hey everyone! For those who couldn't make it to the meeting, here's what we went over:
Set the cheese date: Tentatively March 26th at 10 a.m. We have the list, Rachel Roberts has been deemed as the keeper. Find or email her if you're sincerely interested. As far as cost, the final details haven't been finalized yet, but it shouldn't be any more than $20/person if we have to buy *everything* (stainless steel pots included. I'm confident we can find some to borrow). We're almost finished with the budget. We can definitely use the Pacer Crossings kitchens. :)
We're still waiting on the food documentary as an ICE event, the Q&A faculty/staff panel, the changes we need to make to the Constitution (I'm meeting with Ahmed tomorrow, so hopefully we can *finally* get all these little things ironed out!). We're also still working on contacting local farmers about potentially hosting the Aiken Farmer's market for a day at USCA.
We're still bummed that the student garden has been put on hold. We might try to organize something to get our own Slow Food garden.
Also, keep an eye on the Pacer Times, we might be featured! :D
